Le Bourg, which sleeps 6 comfortably (8 during summer
months) is a pretty pink flint and colombarge farmette in the heart of
Normandy countryside. The garden is extensive and secure for young children.
Built about 200 years ago Le Bourg has been modernised with all the trappings of today whilst retaining its French country charm. Le Bourg sits next to the C10th church in the hamlet of St Laurent du Tencement with the village of Villers en Ouch 3 kilometres away. The countryside is wooded and rolling and ideal for walking and cycling - indeed several cycle routes pass close to the house.
The ports of Caen, Le Harve and Dieppe lie
1 to 2 hours drive to the north, where the sandy beaches stretch for miles
and the fashionable resort town of Deauville with its
casinos and golf courses also resides.
The market towns of Bernay and L'Aigle are within 25 kilometres and all the local delicacies of cider, calvados and cheeses are readily available.
